Pakje Droomhuis is fun for young and old. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want. It is ideal for preschoolers to make a viewing box. They often have plenty of ideas, but could use some help in the practical implementation of their plans. From the age of 6, children turn a shoe box into their own dream home like a true mini-architect.
In Pakje Droomhuis you will find the best things: a mini book with a step-by-step plan, a plastic figure, a thrift store, fabric, wallpaper, vinyl or carpet, a rug, rope, pen caps, stamps, slide frames, match sticks, dominoes, corks and much more. NOTE: the bag contains small (and sometimes sharp) parts, which are not suitable for young children who put things in their mouth! Need anything else? Scissors and clear glue. Double-sided tape is not necessary, but can be easy to work with.
Pakje Plezier - a social enterprise
Pakje Droomhuis consists of (industrial) residual materials and items purchased from thrift stores and flea markets. Adults with a mental (and physical) disability have all materials cut, rolled up, folded and packed for you daytime activities at De Makerij in Rotterdam Schiebroek. They do this work with great pleasure and dedication!
